How do I make an appointment?

For an initial appointment at the Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital, you can book online at the Nuffield website Mr Ahmed Abdelaal (nuffieldhealth.com), by calling the hospital directly (01926 562472) or by calling my secretary (Mrs Julie Thompson, 02476612681). Follow-up appointments at the Nuffield are arranged via my secretary. All appointments at The Cherwell Hospital are booked directly with The Cherwell hospital (01295500975).

Which insurers do you work with?

I am registered with all the major medical insurers. These include: Bupa AXA PPP Healthcare WPA Aviva Vitality Healix Cigna

What happens if there is a shortfall of payment between what the insurance company pays and your fees?

I believe that if you already pay for medical insurance, you should not pay any extras. Hence, I aim not to charge any insurance patients anything, except when they have to pay their insurance excess directly.

Can my care be transferred to the NHS?

At any stage of your treatment, I am happy to transfer your care from the private sector to the NHS upon your request. The standards of care in both sectors are equal and the indications for investigations and treatments are the same. The NHS waiting times will apply.

Is there any treatments that you offer privately but not in your NHS practice?

No. My private practice mirrors my NHS practice.

I had an MRI scan in a different hospital. Will you be able to view it?

If you let my secretary / the hospital booking team know in advance, they can request the scans to be transferred ready to be viewed prior to your appointment. Please let them know during the booking with enough notice for the image transfer.
